About Us

Team SIMONN, a constituent group of Electrical and Computer Engineers from San Diego State University's College of Engineering, attempts to solve one of the sport industry's greatest problems: proactive assessment of head injury. SIMONN's compact and efficient sensor design allows sports officials to detect and record high-impact events the moment they occur, in an effort to reduce the long-term negative health effects many athletes face. SIMONN hardware is carefully designed with consideration to player safety, operational effectiveness, and endurance.
